This pop-up exhibition was an excerpt of Pelipoikilo game art exhibition in Kouvola, Autumn 2022. Pelipoikilo was one of the first exhibitions of games as an art form in Finnish museums and galleries. The goal of the exhibition was to show both gamers and regular museum visitors that games can be more than entertainment, business and source of worries. The exhibition was a huge effort for the museum, curators, interior designers, builders and everyday staff. The aim was to make that exhibition unique opportunity worth all the expertise and the work put into it.

This small selection of games at Kumma Gallery was exhibited in Pelipoikilo. They represent various aspects of human life in a playable and sometimes humoristic or allegoric form. The original setup of the games at Pelipoikilo exhibition was showcased via photos beside the games.
