GN! Exhibition 2025, 13-23 May 2025

Games Now! Exhibition 2025 showcases seven selected games from the GN! Game Jams held during the academic year 2024-25. Game jams are gatherings where creatives come together to develop games based on a specific theme. The themes for the GN! Game Jam Autumn 2024 and Spring 2025 were ‘space and ‘view. The games in this exhibition explore these themes in various ways.

The teams behind these games consisted of students and other GN! community members from around the world.

Games Now! is an open lecture series and learning community run by Aalto University. At GN!, the latest trends in the game industry are explored through lectures by international game professionals. GN! also runs game jams where students from around the world come together to create games in one week. The GN! network consists of 19 universities and game schools from Finland, Sweden, Germany, China, Ukraine, Ireland, Japan, Portugal, South Korea, and the US. GN! works closely with representatives of the Finnish game industry. The judging panel for Games Now! Exhibition 2025 included game industry professionals Anu Tukeva from Housemarque (Finland), Charlene Putney from Neon Aurelius (Denmark), Chride Lassheikki from Nitro Games (Finland), Jasmin Dahncke from Mainframe Industries (Finland), Patrick Geuder from Mojang Studios (Sweden), Samuli Jääskeläinen from Varjo (Finland), Shailesh Prabhu from Monsoon Bit (Sweden), Sun Park from Turtle Cream (South Korea), and Tatu Laine from Futureplay Games (Finland).
